The 2016 race entries haven’t been added to the official site yet but the eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted them on the Sportident site
Here is the list of 2016 entries.
Some observations of note:
- Former British Road Race champion John Tanner rides his first event
- 56 Female entrants (… I think that’s a record?) including a FV60 this year
- Former winner Fred Salmon is back for the first time in BLOODY AGES … quite a few ex-winners there
- Although former 3rd place finisher Lewis Craven is listed, he won’t start due to an injury, and that leaves ONE Wheelbase rider in the field (Mark Donovan, the 2016 British Junior Cyclocross champion). Whilst Mark will no doubt come away with a podium in the U18s, it’s sad to see the former powerhouse club dwindle in this event.
