Your Training. The art of the 3 Peaks Cyclo-cross.

Training for any long, gruelling event is a serious business. The 3 Peaks has some very specific demands, arguably unique ones. The original ‘mountain bike race’ means that climbs are literally mountain sides, bike carrying periods are huge, descents are technical – especially so on ‘cross bikes – and arduous.

In this video, I explore some of the specific things to get out and practice before the race. Over the years, I’ve noticed how I am shaky on the 3 Peaks drills at first, but with familiarity and a few sessions, things start to flow. So here’s the hints and tips, now over to you to do the hard graft.
