Steve Riley’s interview on the 63xc.com site with John Wyatt (who we believe to be the first fixed gear on the Peaks – prove us wrong!) is a great read. Wyatt’s ride didn’t even leave him with sore knees. Maybe he needs a bigger gear next year, then.
