Like all of us, Wheelbase cycles are relieved to see the race back this weekend.
With some historic wins over the years, the Lakeland based company have been present at the race since their inception in the late 1980s.
Their blog this year focuses on the chances of Giles Drake – who has been there or thereabouts multiple times. Drake’s luck has never quite matched his form and climbing ability, but let’s see if 2022 brings the first Wheelbase win since the days Rob Jebb rode for his local bike shop.
