My brother Phil – a multi-time finisher of the race himself – has taken a bit of a break from the race following a nasty crash last year on a Mountain Bike. Whilst this is a obviously a source of distress, it’s a nice opportunity for us opportunists. No point him sitting idle, so Phil (and his lovely wife and children) helped me this year on the Cherpal le Dale and Ribblehead stints. THANK YOU.
